The story behind TrinketBot.

TrinketBot started as a favor for a friend — MallieSprout, a VTuber running her own community server. The goal was simple: build one bot that could handle everything a Vtuber or community server needs, without making people install and maintain ten different bots to get there.

Hello! I'm a software developer who works solo on whatever I find myself passionate about. My goal with anything I build is to make something genuinely useful that people can share with each other — and TrinketBot is exactly that. For now, I'm the only one working behind the scenes on the bot, and I plan to keep updating it as regularly as I can.

The round little sprout who pokes around this site is Trinket — and every picture of Trinket you'll find on TrinketBot, from the sparkly one on the front page to the one that gets cross when you poke it too fast, is art by MallieSprout. Thank you, Mallie, for giving TrinketBot a face.

TrinketBot started as a favor for Mallie, and it has been a collaboration with her and her community ever since: a bot shaped around what a real VTuber community server needs, with a mascot to match. If you'd like to see where it all began, stop by her stream and say hi.
